Our Leadership

In a Direct Democracy you - the member, the voter, the person who engages us in debate - are as significant as the organisation's leader.

We oppose the failed system of representative democracy and don't want to encourage the old, acquired habit of focussing on individuals and looking to the charisma of a single champion as the basis for our hope.

If nations are to have a happy, prosperous, secure future this can only come about by changing the current system in which the super-rich pull the strings from behind closed doors, for a system of direct democracy, in which the power to determine the nation's future is transferred to the people.

Our organisation is run by an Executive Board - a group that fluctuates in size but at any time comprises at least 10 members.
